Mogadishu Saturday, October 04 2008 SMC
The religious sector of Ahlu Sunnah Wajamac has distributed religious books including Holy Quran to students learning the Islamic religion.
The handing over of the religious books took place at the main office of Ahlu Sunnah Waljamaca, there were some clerics in the religious sector of Ahlu Suunah Waljamca who were present in the office at the time of the presentation advising the pupils who had the fortune to achieve the religious books, and coaxing them to make use out of the books given to them.
Sheikh Abdikadir Sheikh Mohammed (Sheikh Somow) who is the spokesman of Ahlu Sunnah Waljamaca addressed the pupils and at length talked about the significance of the religion and how worthy these books are.
Likewise a student who was among the beneficiaries gave out his speech, and said that he is very pleased with fabulous gifts he was give, and termed it as a golden opportunity.
Some other clerics of Ahlu Sunnah Waljamaca delivered peace speeches in some of the mosques in Mogadishu urging the warring sides to stop the fire.
The clerics firmly said that it is prohibited a Muslim fellow to be killed without genuine reason and appealed from the Somali community in general to stand for the interest of the people.
