Somali PM Returns to Mogadishu as president reaches to Sudan

Mogadishu Thursday, 20 November 2008 SMC

Somali Prime Minister Nur Hassan Hussein Nur adde returned to Somalia after weeks of internal dispute with the president.

Reports say that the premier is due to hold a news conference in his house in Mogadishu, where the journalists stay.

Somali Weyn reporter who stays the house of the PM says the Nur Adde would be focused in his press conference the dispute between him and the president, as well as the reconciliation process.

The arrival of the Prime minister along with some of his new cabinet ministers, have flown from Kenyan capital, where they have been staying last days.

No road blocks were done in Mogadishu specially the road links to the presidential palace and the Aden Adde Airport.

Somali soldiers and the African peace keeping forces from Uganda have been cutting off that road in time TFG authorities are landing or going out of the city.

Mean while sources in Sudan affirmed to Somaliweyn that the president of Somalia Abdullahi Yusuf who was recently visiting to Libya had reached earlier on Thursday to Sudan.

No more news could be found the purpose of the president’s visit to Sudan, but definitely it comes days after IGAD threatened to be isolated every one in TFG who jeopardizes the reconciliation process.

Somali has been luck of central government more than 18 years, after warlords toppled the former military regime of Mohamed Siyada Barre.
