Somalia: The dead bodies of 3 youths positioned on Bakara intersection

Mogadishu Sunday 02 May 2010 SMC

Somaliweyn – Mohammed Omar Hussein

The dead bodies of the juveniles were on Sunday morning placed at the intersection of Bakara market the largest business center in Somalia. Al-Shabab a rival Islamist faction in Somalia which controls most of the regions in south and central Somalia has claimed to be behind the killings of the three youngsters.

“These youngsters are members of the fighters of Ahlu-Sunaha Waljama, and we have killed them in the confrontation between us and them in the dead hours of Saturday afternoon” said Al-Shabab officer speaking to one of the local radios stations in the Somali capital Mogadishu” said the Al-Shabab officer.

Yet there are no comments made by Ahlu-Sunnah Waljama another Islamists faction in Somalia, but moderate to prove wrong or right the claiming of their opponents that they have killee three of their fighters in a battle.

It was in the course of last month when the chopped head of a man in his early 30s was positioned at Bakara junction, and nobody has claimed the chopping of that like unlike these three youngsters.

The Bakara junction is under the full command of Al-Shabab the rival Islamist function.
