Can Sheikh Hassan Dahir Aweys Save Somalia? Yes, if Not Killed by CIA Operative Abu Mansor Al Amriki

The tragic events at Mogadishu over the past weekend demonstrate basically one thing: vicious forces, well hidden in the wings, intend to worsen the conditions of fratricidal war, multi-division, confrontational piracy, deprivation, misery, destruction, environmental devastation, starvation and unprecedented devastation that currently prevail throughout Somalia. |
The analysis of why Somalia is targeted in this way may at times vary, and different elements of the overall picture may be taken as of primary importance by various interpreters, thus leading to eventually different conclusions.
A brief assessment is necessary to accept only what can be commonly accepted by all people of good faith. This assessment is necessary to anyone who would attempt to administer a solution and a successful exit to Somalia´s Drama.
Somalia – The Situation
1. In Somaliland, a tribal tyranny subordinated to the racist dictatorship of Abyssinia constitutes the tool of local oppression and Somali divisiveness.
2. In Puntland, a representative regime has fallen victim of the English colonial trickeries and has become critically impotent, having no control over the Mafia lords who finance and get (partly only) benefit from the piracy – an absolutely colonial instigation phenomenon.
3. As long as the aforementioned regimes at Hargeisa and Garowe exist, Somalia will not be pacified – let alone reunified. Worse, further developments of destructive nature are expected to be materialized, precisely because Somaliland and Puntland pseudo-states exist.
4. In the Somali South, a simulation of war has been created following the Pakistani montage. The fratricidal atrocities in the South are of purely colonial inspiration, involvement and benefit.
From one side, the substitution of the TFG president by the gullible Sheikh Sharif was made as international political spectacle and ´proof´ of concession of the international community toward Somalia and the Somali Islamists.
From the other side, with the introduction of CIA operatives among Al Shebaab, further confusion prevailed among those who had first been rightfully radicalized against the Abyssinian invasion (December 2006) and the ongoing prejudicial stance of the Security Council toward Somalia.
5. The presence of AMISOM soldiers offers to the colonial majority of the UN Security Council the preconceived and prefabricated pattern of an unrepresentative and unelected government supposedly calling the international community to save the local "legitimacy". This means that the presence of Sheikh Sharif as TFG president serves the most evil Anti-Somali interests as the best possible alibi.
6. Due to the fact that advanced techniques must certainly have been used in the case of the top CIA operative Abu Mansor Al Amriki, involving remote mind control, his widely publicized presence in Somalia must have only two effects, namely
a. contributing to the formation of the aforementioned pattern of conflict (already done) and
b. eliminating the main obstacles to the implementation of further stages of the Anti-Somali conspiracy carried out by the three colonial capitals, London, Paris and Washington.
Somalia – The Solution
In a previous articles entitled "Somalia, goddess Tyche, Ahmedou Ould Abdallah and Sheikh Sharif" (http://www.americanchronicle.com/articles/view/102080),
I specified that a real process of peace in Somalia would involve the following:
1. Removal of AMISOM soldiers
2. General Assembly of all Somali tribes´ representatives
3. Formation of a provisory government to open the path for Constitutional Elections, with the participation of representatives of all Somali socioeconomic entities and political - ideological currents
4. Coordination with the UN and the Islamic Conference Organization for an international force that would eliminate the secessionist pseudo-governments of Somaliland and Puntland
5. Coordination with the UN, NATO, Russia, China, and India on the termination of the Somali piracy epiphenomenon which is the most grave ambush in the path of Somalia´s pacification, which was devised by the English secret services.
6. Constitutional Elections, adoption of a Bi-cameral Constitution, and election of a Government
What can Sheikh Hassan Dahir Aweys do
First, achieve full safety around him and his group – particularly from Shebaab operatives that would show a falsely friendly face.
Second, reach out to the Somali society. It is clear that now, in 2009, the pre-existing tribal sociopolitical differences have lost their strength and became of minor importance. The loathsome tyranny of Somaliland contributed greatly to this achievement. North Somalis realized that what matters is not Daarood or Hawiye prevalence throughout Somalia but the emergence of a state of Law, Equity, Justice and Progress. It became clear to the Isaaq that a ruler from the same tribe can at times be even worse!
Reaching out to the Somali tribes is essential because it bears witness to what sort of political vision and future a new ruler can promise. Some basic sociopolitical considerations matter greatly in this regard.
Before 1991, Somalia attributed great significance to the political unity and little interest to the – equally important – social unity. This is simply not affordable anymore.
It will be impossible to imagine a situation of political reunification whereby parts of Somalia will become the exclusive recipient of rehabilitation funds and other provinces that will be left in desolation.
The vision to attract all should be a combined bicameral system whereby the Senate would be a proportional representation of Somalia´s tribes and would legislate on local, municipal, social and educational issues. The Parliament would then elect a government for which the Senate´s legislation would be compulsory. Foreign Affairs and Defense only would be the main concerns of the central government whereby Somalia´s tribes would also be fairly represented.
Sheikh Hassan Dahir Aweys should therefore convene an All-Somali Conference with the participation of Somali Elders and tribal authorities to whom he should present a Save Somalia Project.
Third, deal with the Somali piracy epiphenomenon. Triggered by the English colonials in order to further escalate the Somali crisis, the Somali piracy is a time capsule that simply must cease to exist. The international community has the means to eliminate the phenomenon without resorting to military activities. But, there is no Somali authority in the Puntland coast; the world community will not take the Garowe administration as an interlocutor, and thus the escalation can easily happen at any moment. The manipulation of the international public opinion suggests that a terrible hit has been already prepared to the last detail.
A first, partly but great, reduction of the piracy cases off the Somali coast can be achieved through the three, simple, following measures that the UN General Assembly and several non colonial powers can support:
a. Somali piracy will exist as long as boats are free to sail to Berbera, Bossasso, Raas Hafun, Eyl, Hobyo and other Somali harbours in the North of Mogadishu.
b. As the aforementioned harbours are located in unrecognized secessionist states´ territories, sailing from and to the coast in the North of Mogadishu must be totally prohibited with the exception of local Somali fishing boats. Consequently, the international armada, instead of looking after pirates, should rather effectuate a maritime embargo of Somaliland and Puntland.
c. With rather insignificant logistics, UN should man and equip a Somali fishermen registration committee that will move across the Somali coast from Mogadishu to Djibouti, enroll all the local fishing boats and the fishermen, who will express the interest to work in the National Somali Fisheries, and then deliver the record to the international armada that will be tasked with the sea control around the Horn of Africa.
These measures, if implemented, would almost lead to the extinction of the Somali piracy epiphenomenon.
Fourth, reach out to China. It is essential that a statesman´s profile and cooperation possibilities be presented by colleagues and subordinates to several important people in Beijing. The Chinese leadership must be alarmed with the US – UK – Euro – NATO project of turning Somalia to a desolate territory, emptied of its population and partly transformed into a huge nuclear basis against the Asiatic landmass alliance of China, Kazakhstan and Russia (Shanghai Cooperation Organization). An alliance with Beijing would grant the logistics support needed to later eliminate AMISOM from Somalia.
Fifth, reach out to the Shebaab. It will be essential to let the Somali patriotic leadership of the Islamist organization understand that, without their willingness, they may play into the game of the colonial and Anti-Islamic forces. In this regard, coordinating with Sheikh Hassan Turki and Sheikh Mukhtar Robow would be critical.
Sixth, reach out to Ogaden and the Somali province of Kenya. A real national Somali statesman demonstrates interest for every oppressed and persecuted Somali, while revealing to the rest of the world the dictatorial nature of Somalia´s neighbors.
