Jowhar traders committee chairman quits his title after squabble

Reports from Jowhar town the headquarters of middle shabelle region in southern Somalia says that the chairman of the regional traders resigned his post after brawl between him and the local administration on how to alleviate the soaring price of the commodities.
The traders have on their side rejected to pay money to the town vigilantes.
The establishments of these vigilantes were to take care of the town security and they were formed by the Union of the Islamic Courts.
Delegates from the Islamic Courts Union are likely to intervene the current tension in the town.
This issue of the food price rice going up was in the recent days experienced in countrywide.
And food riot in the capital Mogadishu itself have claimed the live of 5 rioters after government soldiers opened fire at rioters.
More badly the rejection of the old one thousand Somali shillings note is the other major problem to the country population as whole.
Somalia had no effective central government for the past 17 years.
And the Kenyan established government is yet to stand on its own, with the support of their Ethiopian ally.
