Mogadisho Isniin, May 12 2008 SMC“
Forces from the Ethiopian government entered Baladeweyn town the headquarters of Hiran region in central Somalia overnight and the inhabitants in the area have showed great concern over this action by the Ethiopian troops.
The taking point of the residents of Baladweyn town this Monday morning is over the frequent arrivals of the Ethiopian troops in their town especially during the night hours.
The Ethiopian troops enter the town during the night time and station themselves at the premises of the regional administration and some important streets in within the town.
Ethiopian troops could this morning be seen inside Baladweyn town and in tour of duty in some parts of the town heavily armed with rocket propelled grenades and other heavy guns mounted on their military trucks.
These Ethiopian troops are said to be from the mountainous area of Janta Kundche some 5km from Bladweyn town.
The business activities in the town have pretty dropped down this morning and the public transport system is lower than usual.
The main motive behind the reach of the Ethiopian troops in the town is not manifest.
Independent sources indicate that the new appointed regional commissioners with some other regional administrations are likely to reach at Baladweyn town in the coming hours.
The general state of the Baladweyn town is quit without the administration of the Islamists and the TFG’s administration.
The regional elders have been controlling the condition of the Baladwey.
