Mogadisho Axad, May 11 2008 SMC“
The chairman of Hawiya traditional elders the dominant in the Somali capital Mogadishu Mohammed Hassan Haad said that he doesn’t think that much would be achieved from the current convention which is due to take place in the neighboring country Djibouti.
The Hawiya traditional elders chairman Haad and some of his fellow elders returned back into the country after been in Djibouti for more than a month.
The chairman was quit pessimistic about the conference in Djibouti and reiterated that the conference may end up fruitless one as the previous conferences.
“In Djibouti we meet with the Djibouti authority, officials from the United Nation, and some members of the Asmara alliance, and after we have calculated the move there we don’t think any progressive achievements can be reached out Djibouti conference,” said the chairman of the Hawiya traditional Elders Mr. Haad.
The chairman added that the role of the United Nation is merely to mediate the repulsing sides but nothing more.
“To my point of view from different perspectives nothing gratifying the Somali people would come out from the Djibouti conference” said the Chairman of Hawiya traditional Elders.
Where there is a will there is away-added Mr. Haad and said we are still expecting Gods mercy to land at our land (Somalia).
