General Ali Mohammed Hassan the Somali ambassador to Tanzania said that he has talked to the Tanzanian authority over detained Somali migrants in the Tanzanian capital Darussalam and some other regions in the country.

In the Tanzanian jails there are a lot of Somali Migrants specially youngsters who fled from their country Somalia due frequent attacks between the Islamists and the Transitional Federal Government and their foreign troop comrades.

The general also disclosed that the Tanzanian government has accepted his appeal and the soonest possible the Somali inmates would be released. The

Tanzanian government on their said that they don't have the fund to repatriate these migrants to their motherland

"I myself have visited the prison cells where these Somalis are and in fact the exaggeration which I hear from is not something which is there, I mean there are no intimidation such as torture in jails where these people are kept" said Ali Madobe the Somali ambassador to Tanzania.

I have made contact with the government of Somalia the ICRC and the United Nations high commissioner for the Refuges regarding on how to repatriate these Somalis back to home" added general Madobe
