The sides which are battling in the Somali politics have raised their differences in the commemoration of the birth of Prophet Mohammed Peace be Upon him.

The Minister for Religion and Charity of the Somali transitional federal Sheikh Noor Ali Adan has on Friday said in a press conference in the Somali capital Mogadishu, that it is something mandatory upon every sane Muslim to commemorate the birth of Prophet Mohammed (P.B.U.H)

“The commemoration of the birth of our Prophet is a great thing to do within Muslims, and those who are denying this will end up in trouble in their lifespan, and will face severe punishment in the hereafter” said the Minister speaking to Somaliweyn Website.

Al-Sbabab an armed Islamist faction in Somalia which the western say its is Al-Qaida proxy in Somalia has banned the commemoration of the birth of Prophet Mohammed in its areas of control, so do Hisbul-Islam another armed Islamist faction in Somalia.

The moderate Iskamist faction in Somali which occupies in some parts of central Somalia which has a different perspective from the other Islamists faction is organizing for a wounderful commemoration of the birth of Prophet Mohammed (P.B.U.H)
