With CECAFA senior women’s challenge cup coming to conclusion in Tanzania on Monday, the regional Africa football’s ruling body [CECAFA], has today (Sunday) announced the draw for the senior men’s challenge cup.
Twelve countries drawn into three groups including [gusts DR Congo] have confirmed their participation in the competition which is scheduled to take place in Uganda from 7-19 December. 2019.
Somalia’s Ocean stars have been placed in group B with Sudan, South Sudan and guests Democratic republic of Congo. Hosts Uganda, Burundi, Ethiopia and Eritrea are in Group A, while Djibouti, Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar are drawn into group C.
Meanwhile, the fixtures for CECAFA women’s U-17 tournament has also been issued. Seven countries will participate in the women’s youth event which will be hosted in the city of Jinga, Uganda from 9-18 December 2019.
